The exhibition of the talented Buryat artist Zorikto DORZHIEV
opened today, with the support of the Fund for the Protection of
Lake Baikal and the Metropol GC in the exhibition complex of
Luxembourg.
At the exhibition in the heart of Europe were presented paintings
and sculptures of this young but already well-known author, as well
as his new graphic works.
This artistic and ethnographic project was shown in Western Europe
for the first time and provides an opportunity to learn about the
culture and lifestyle of the indigenous inhabitants of the Baikal
Region.
Guests of the exhibition of the distinctive Buryat artist,
DORZHIEV, were representatives of the European business elite,
diplomats and representatives of the international community. S.G.
Semenov spoke on behalf of FPLB at the opening of the exposition;
he closely acquainted the guests with the activity of the Fund and
the peculiarities of DORZHIEV’s creations.
