The three-hour submersion includes the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal President, State Duma of the Russian Federation Deputy, Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Russia Artur Chilingarov, and State Duma of the Russian Federation Deputy Vladimir Gruzdev.  The Mir-1 manned submersible is piloted by the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal Technical Board Chairman and Hero of Russia Anatoly Sagalevich.  The mission lasts for more than three hours.
