Today at 12:30, local time, DEEPWATER "Mir-1” and “Mir-2" have arrived on the board of the plane "Ruslan" into Chkalovsk Airport (near Kaliningrad) from Irkutsk. The flight on the largest air transport craft in Russia took place in a scheduled mode with a stopover in Ulyanovsk. The valuable cargo was accompanied by experts of the Institute of Oceanology from Moscow. Then the famous deep-sea vehicles that have completed three years of work within the framework of the expedition of the "Mir Subs on Lake Baikal” project, along with containers of additional equipment were unloaded and transported to a hangar storage base of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology.
