As part of the RussenKo Russian Culture Festival, which is traditionally held in the Paris suburb of Kremlen-Bisetr on January 28-30, 2011, introduced for the first time was the topic of studying and preservation of Lake Baikal. At the stand of the Fund for Protection of Lake Baikal, people had access to various publications about this unique natural object, as well as being able to listen to the fascinating lecture of the Director of the FPLB, Bair Tsyrenov – on the results of the "Mir Subs on Lake Baikal” International Research Expedition.
